For those of you who haven’t taken notice, we’re broadcasting live from down in the international metropolis of the Big Easy. As the home of Mardi Gras and the Saints slowly puts the pieces of its life back together, not unlike the owners of this blog, we continue to experience the fallout of one of the most destructive forces this nation has ever seen. As people in other parts of the country demand that the city should have evacuated completely, that people who were in the path of the storm are at fault for their own tragedies, and that there’s little or no point in reconstructing and renewing the home of Jazz and jambalaya, we invite you to take another look at one Ms. Katrina as she was forming.
Now figure out exactly where the population of a chuck that size of the globe was supposed to go to get away from that.
