Plan of Action:
To start slow and build gradually, without compromising the integrity of the writers, who have very little integrity to begin with. To laugh, cry, strike out with misdirected anger, and generally inform and entertain our readers. We’re here for you. As much as any random blog writers are.
What You May or May Not Need to Know:
- Your comments are solicited and appreciated. They may take some time to show up on the blog, but we assure you we will read every one of them. Unless there are a lot. Then most likely we’ll read as many as we can and then go have a drink while watching some celebrities make fools of themselves.
- Lazlo is a character in the 80’s comedy classic Real Genius. He is, as the title suggests, a genius, and also quirky as hell. We do not claim to have either of these qualities. We just really like the guy.
- The owners of the blog lives in New Orleans. This means Katrina has an impact on our daily lives, and will likely be discussed every now and then even though the rest of the world has moved on. Deal with that in your own way. It also means the Saints have a place of honor here, which is not to say that smacktalk is discouraged. Quite the opposite.
- The posts in this blog do not necessarily represent the beliefs or ideals of anyone other than the poster, and perhaps not even that. Posters reserve the right to contradict themselves and each other on a regular basis.
- We believe in freedom of speech, religion, lifestyle choice, and pretty much anything else we can think of. We’re not postmodernists to the point that we can justify anything, but we will be happy to let your comments speak for themselves.
